AI Use Disclosure
Last updated: May 2026
1. Overview
ServicePulse AI uses artificial intelligence to support lead capture, communication workflows, call summaries, follow-up drafts, recommendations, and reporting for trade and service businesses.
This disclosure explains how AI is used within the Platform, what it does and does not do, and how human oversight is maintained.
2. What AI Does
Lead Intake: AI helps capture, organize, and route incoming leads from calls, forms, and messages so that no inquiry is missed.
SMS Drafts: AI generates draft text messages for follow-up, appointment reminders, and customer communication. These drafts can be configured to require human approval before sending.
Call Summaries: AI produces summaries of inbound and outbound calls to help business owners review conversations quickly.
Estimate Follow-Up: AI assists with follow-up sequences after estimates are sent, helping keep potential jobs from going cold.
Review Requests: AI generates and schedules review request messages to help businesses build their online reputation.
Marketing Insights: AI analyzes campaign data and lead sources to surface trends and suggest areas for improvement.
Owner Recommendations: AI provides actionable recommendations to business owners based on lead activity, response times, and pipeline status.
3. What AI Does Not Do
AI does not replace human judgment. Business decisions, customer commitments, pricing, and scheduling remain the responsibility of the business owner and their team.
AI does not provide legal, tax, insurance, or financial advice. Any information surfaced by AI should not be treated as professional counsel.
AI does not guarantee specific business results, revenue increases, or lead conversion rates.
AI does not make uncontrolled promises or commitments to customers on behalf of the business unless explicitly configured and approved by the business owner.
AI does not access or store payment card data. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers such as Stripe.
4. Human Oversight
Approval Mode: Businesses can enable approval mode, which requires a human to review and approve AI-generated messages before they are sent to customers.
Escalation Rules: AI follows configured escalation rules that route certain conversations or lead types to a human team member for direct handling.
Business Rules: AI operates within the business rules, hours, service areas, and preferences configured by the business owner.
Human Handoff: When AI determines that a conversation requires human attention, or when configured triggers are met, the conversation is handed off to the appropriate team member.
5. Data and AI
AI processes business data, including leads, conversations, and campaign metrics, to support workflows and generate insights.
ServicePulse AI does not sell business data or customer data to third parties.
AI follows the data handling rules and privacy practices described in our Privacy Policy. Data processed by AI is subject to the same protections as all other Platform data.
6. Accuracy and Limitations
AI can make mistakes. Outputs generated by AI, including summaries, drafts, recommendations, and insights, should be reviewed by a human before being acted upon.
AI follows configured guardrails and business rules, but no AI system is perfect. Edge cases, ambiguous inputs, and unusual scenarios may produce unexpected results.
We continuously improve our AI models and workflows. Updates are designed to improve accuracy and reliability over time.
7. Customer Communication
AI-generated messages follow the approval settings configured by the business owner. Depending on configuration, some messages may be sent automatically while others require manual approval.
Customers interacting with a business using ServicePulse AI may be communicating through AI-assisted workflows. The level of AI involvement depends on the business owner's configuration and preferences.
8. Consent and Compliance
SMS and call workflows follow the consent rules configured by the business owner, including opt-in and opt-out handling.
Each business using ServicePulse AI is responsible for understanding and complying with applicable laws and regulations related to customer communication, data collection, and AI use.
9. Updates to This Disclosure
We may update this AI Use Disclosure from time to time as our AI capabilities evolve. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
